What data is processed

Visits generate technical data such as your IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser information, referrer and security signals. If you contact us, we process your name, email address, message and any information you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

Using the form is optional. Its name, email and message fields are required to send and answer your request; without them the form cannot be submitted.

Purposes and legal basis

We process enquiries to respond to you and manage business communications, based on our legitimate interest in handling requests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where you request steps towards a contract with you personally, Article 6(1)(b) applies. Mandatory business records are processed to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

Website delivery and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interest in operating a functional, secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).

Recipients and international processing

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Formspree receives form submissions and forwards them to our contact mailbox; it can also store submissions in its dashboard. Our email service provider and authorised GEOSTEEL personnel handle correspondence. Google supplies the website fonts and jsDelivr supplies a script; those services receive your IP address and technical request data when these resources load.

Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Formspree hosts its service in the United States and states that it relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Cloudflare describes the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses in its data-processing terms. You can contact us for information about transfers or a copy of applicable safeguards.

Retention

Enquiries are kept until the request and any related follow-up are closed. Correspondence that becomes part of a customer relationship is kept for that relationship and any applicable statutory record-keeping period. Records needed for a dispute are kept until the matter and the applicable claim period have ended. Other closed enquiries are deleted from the mailbox and any stored Formspree submissions.

Technical-data retention depends on the provider's service settings, security investigations and legal obligations, as described in the provider information above.

Cookies and storage

This website does not load analytics or advertising tools. Cloudflare may set necessary security cookies, including cf_clearance to remember a security check; its lifetime can be up to one year under the site's security settings. See Cloudflare's cookie information.

If you choose a language, preferredLang and userLangChoice in local storage remember that choice until you change it or clear your browser's site data. You can also remove cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected].

You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or the supervisory authority where you live or work. We do not use your data for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
